When His Obstacle Became Her Challenge
They said it was a mountain, A stone too heavy, a wall too wide. But when he faced it, hands trembling,
She saw only the shadow of something else, A fragment of a puzzle unfinished.
Her name was whispered in spaces between their struggles, The gaps in their breaths where their fear lived. He saw the mountain as an obstacle, She, a challenge.
The same peaks that loomed over him Merely shifted shape in her gaze,
A staircase etched into the stone by her will.
One foot in front of the otherβ
He faltered, she danced,
Her steps carving rhythm into the weight of gravity,
Her laughter in time with each stumble he made.
His hands reached for the summit,
Grappling with sweat and slipping on doubt.
But she carried him in thought,
Her strength not in muscle but in vision.
For what was his obstacle but her path,
A road untraveled simply because he never saw
How straight the lines could become
If they allowed the curves to bend.
A challenge in her eyes, a story untoldβ
Not of struggle but of re-making, Not of loss but of re-claiming. For when his obstacle became her challenge,
She saw no walls, no valleys,
Only endless horizons waiting.
The weight he carried lightened,
Not because it lessened,
But because she lifted it with her mind.
And as he looked to her,
Silent in awe,
He found that his feet
Could move with her rhythm.
She asked for no reward,
Only the moment to be hers,
To turn what was heavy into air,
To turn fear into flight.
The mountain didnβt shrink,
The challenge didnβt fade,
But when his obstacle became her challenge,
Life simply unfolded
Into something easier, lighterβ
Like the breeze that sweeps through
After the rain.
So, he let her lead,
And in her challenge,
Found his answer
To what had been
Impossible.
