My favorite person in the world is my grandmother. She has been a constant source of love and support throughout my life, and I have so many fond memories of spending time with her. I lost her a few years back.
Growing up, my grandmother lived just a few miles away from my family, and I would often spend weekends with her. She always made me feel special and loved, and I cherished the time we spent together. Whether we were baking cookies, working on crafts, or simply chatting, I always left her house feeling happy and content.
One of my favorite memories of my grandmother is the summer when she taught me how to cook. I was about 10 years old, and I had expressed an interest in learning how to cook tasty dishes she had mattered in. My grandmother was thrilled to teach me, and we spent hours together, working on a couple of dishes. I was so proud of my finished project, and my grandmother was just as proud of me.
In addition to being a loving grandmother, my grandmother was also a wise and strong woman. She faced many challenges in her life, but she never lost her positive attitude and her unwavering faith. I often turned to her for advice and guidance, and I knew that she was always there for me, no matter what.
Even though my grandmother was in her early 100s, she still kept in touch with her friends and loved ones, and she remained a vibrant and active member of her community. She had a contagious zest for life, and she continued to inspire me every day.
In conclusion, my grandmother is my favorite person in the world because she was kind, loving, wise, and strong. She has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I am grateful for her love and support. I hope to be half the human being she was someday, and I will always cherish the memories we made together.
My Grandmother – A Piece Of Poetry I Wrote When She Was Alive
A heart full of love and a smile so bright,
A gentle embrace, a guiding light,
She’s always been there, through thick and thin,
My grandmother, I am forever in.
Her words of wisdom, so wise and true,
Her laughter so warm, it shines like the dew,
Her love so unconditional, so pure and kind,
It lifts me up, makes everything right.
She’s taught me so much, in her gentle way,
Her grace and her strength, light up my day,
She’s my rock, my anchor, my North Star bright,
I am so grateful, she is my light.
Her love is the glue that holds us together,
A bond so strong, it will last forever,
She is my everything, my heart and my soul,
My grandmother, I am grateful for you.
So here’s to you, my dear grandmother,
With love from my heart, and a grateful kiss,
May God bless you always, and keep you so fine,
I love you so much, you’ll always be mine.
