What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance?
I don't have a middle name,
No extra label to my claim,
No moniker to uphold,
No additional story to be told.
But does this make me any less?
Does this omission cause distress?
Is a middle name a marker of worth?
Or just an arbitrary label since birth?
Perhaps it's the lack of a middle name,
That sets me free from societal chains,
No expectation to live up to,
No box to fit in, no mold to pursue.
For in a name lies a history,
An identity steeped in ancestry,
A legacy to carry forward,
A weight that can be a burden.
But without a middle name to guide,
I am free to chart my own path and stride,
No preconceived notion to fulfill,
No expectations to meet, no box to fill.
And so, I embrace my lack of a middle name,
For it allows me to be fluid and unchained,
To define myself on my own terms,
And create my own legacy that burns.
For it's not the name that makes the man,
But the actions and choices that form his plan,
And so, I choose to live boldly and true,
Without a middle name to define or subdue.
In the end, it's not the name that defines us,
But the life we live, the dreams we trust,
The love we give, the paths we choose,
And the impact we leave, to be our eternal muse.
So, let my name be a reflection of my deeds,
Not just a label, but a legacy that exceeds,
A story of a life well-lived,
That inspires others to be fearless and undivided.
And if my lack of a middle name,
Can inspire others to break free from the same,
Then I'll wear this label with pride,
For it's the legacy of a life that cannot be denied.
In conclusion, a middle name may define some,
But for me, it's the lack of one that has just begun,
A life that's free to explore and create,
To define my own story, to challenge fate.
So, let me live my life without a middle name,
For it's the journey that defines the game,
And in the end, it's not the label that we bear,
But the life we lead, the love we share.
For a name is just a word,
A label that can be heard,
But it's the heart and soul within,
That makes a life worth living in.
So let my name be my own,
A reflection of the seeds I've sown,
A testament to the love I give,
And the legacy I hope to leave.
For I am not defined by a label,
But by the dreams I'm willing and able,
To pursue with all my heart and soul,
And make a difference, leave a lasting goal.
So let me live my life without a middle name,
Free to write my own story, free from shame,
And when I'm gone, let my legacy speak,
Of a life well-lived, and a heart that was meek.
For in the end, it's not the name that matters,
But the love we give and the memories we gather,
And so, I embrace my lack of a middle name,
For it's given me the freedom to live without shame.
And so, I'll go on with my life,
Free to explore, to love, to strive,
Without a middle name to define,
The person I am, the person that's mine.
